This website is a private information service provided by candidates on an electoral list for the 2026 Works Council election. It pursues no commercial purposes.

1. Controller

2. General Information

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This website processes personal data only to the extent technically necessary. No cookies, no personal tracking tools (such as Google Analytics), and no social media plugins are used. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption.


3. Server Log Files

The hosting provider of this site automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname / IP address of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons by us.

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the technical stability and security of the website.

The log files are stored by the hosting provider for a technically necessary, short period and then automatically deleted.

This data is not merged with other data sources. The technical operation of the website is carried out by the German hosting provider hostpress in Germany.

5. Email Contact

If you contact us by email, we process your data (email address, possibly name, and other information) exclusively for the purpose of processing your request.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual communication) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries).

The data will not be passed on to third parties and will be deleted after the communication has been completed, provided there are no statutory retention obligations.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

7. Visitor Statistics with Statify

Our website uses the WordPress plugin Statify to evaluate anonymous access numbers.

Statify collects no personal data. In particular, no IP addresses, no device information, and no cookies are stored.

The plugin exclusively counts how often certain pages have been accessed and stores this information directly on our server for a limited period.

Identification of individual visitors is not possible.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

Our legitimate interest lies in the data-minimizing evaluation of the reach of our website.


8. Online Petition

Nature and Purpose of Processing: Our website provides the opportunity to electronically support a petition to the future Works Council. For this purpose, we collect the following data that you enter into the form:

  • First name and Last name
  • Company email address
  • Date and time of entry
  • Your declaration of consent (checkbox)

The processing serves exclusively the purpose of documenting support for the formulated cause and handing over these collected signatures to the newly elected Works Council body (or the Electoral Board/Management, depending on the addressee of the petition).

Legal Basis: Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You provide this consent by actively submitting the form.

Recipients of the Data: The collected names and email addresses are treated confidentially and handed over exclusively to the elected members of the future Works Council of SIT (term of office starting 2026) as a printout or digital list to substantiate the concern of the petition. Publication of names on the website does not take place (or only if explicitly planned—please change here if so!).

Storage Duration: The data remains stored until the petition has been handed over to the Works Council and the procedure is completed. Subsequently, the data will be deleted from our web server and our local backups. Should you withdraw your support prematurely, your data will be deleted immediately.

Right of Withdrawal: You can revoke your consent to the storage and processing of your data at any time with effect for the future (e.g., by email to info@sit-mobil.de). In this case, we will remove your name from the list of supporters before the handover.
